Pilot Mountain NC Rock Climbing

Pilot Mountain is a unique mountain. The cliffs form a knob at the top of the mountain that can be seen for miles around. It is an ideal place for climbing, due to its easy trail approach, and its variety of climbs. It offers easy to difficult climbs, satifsying any climber type! The cliffs are shy of 100 feet, giving everyone ample opportunity to climb the routes that they desire to.

Travel Information

Clients will meet at the Pilot Mountain Parking Lot at 9:00am. If traveling from the Raleigh/Durham area, carpooling will be available.

Rumbling Bald NC Rock Climbing

Rumbling Bald is outside of Charlotte NC and offers excellent year round climbing, and has a beautiful view of Lake Lure. This location has something for everyone to enjoy, whether you have never climbed before or you are very experienced. It offers sport and trad climbing, most routes being 1-2 pitches high.

Crowders Mountain NC Rock Climbing

Crowders Mountain is an ideal location for a day of Rock Climbing. It is close to Charlotte, and very easily accessible. The 200 foot cliffs tower above the surrounding landscape, and provide great top roping and lead climbing routes for all ability levels. Whether you are just getting started with climbing, or have a decent amount of experience, this trip is for you!

Red River Gorge Rock Climbing Weekend

The canyon system of the Red River gorge is stacked high with beautiful sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, and arches. The unique quality of the rock, and the superb location of the Red River Gorge have caused this area to become one of the top climbing destinations in the world.

It is a privilege to be able to guide our clients in a world-wide climbing destination. This is definitely a trip that you do not want to miss. There are climbs here for everyone, whether beginner or advanced. Sport climbing (i.e. bolted climbing) abounds, making it a great location to be introduced to lead climbing as well!

Travel Information:

Clients will meet on Friday Evening at 6:00PM at Miguel’s Pizza (world-famous among climbers!) to set up camp. The weekend will be spent climbing at Red River Gorge. The trip will conclude at 5:00PM Sunday evening.
