American Alpine Club Wilderness First Aid Course in Raleigh NC

Students successfully completing the course will get Wilderness First Aid Certification. You take add CPR certification for another $50. The CPR portion of the class will take place on the evening Friday, July 17 at Triangle Rock Club.

May 15th, 2009 | Posted by: brandonOver the past month or so, I’ve tried to pay close attention to the practices of climbers at various climbing locations in North Carolina, to see where people are being careless and leaving trash, waste, or engaging in other destructive practices. I personally think that if all the climbers who read this, pay careful attention to their practices this summer, they will not only leave the climbing area and areas clean, but will make it that much more enjoyable for all the other people that come to the area as well. Climbing Skills Demo
April 18th, 2009 | Posted by: brandonAscent Adventure Consultants is excited to join with Triangle Rock Club in Morrisville NC to offer monthly Climbing Skills Demos!
On the Fourth Friday night of every month, from 7:00-8:30 PM, Ascent Adventure Consultants’ professional climbing guides will demonstrate an important skill that applies to making the transition to climbing outdoors. Each month will cover a different skill.
During the 90 minute time period, the session will be repeated several times (15 minute sessions).
No sign ups are necessary, and the demo is FREE with admission to Triangle Rock Club.
